Approximately equivalent to a kodak k1.5 Wratten filter, this filter is a good counter for films that have an excess of red. The subtle warming effect of this filter is also favoured by landscape photographers to give less harsh colouring in midday sunshine. 81A filters are useful too for counteracting the effects of flashguns with too high a colour temperature (ie too blue). |
